Updates: What Remains Serializing on Ghost, New Anthology Story, and more!

I've been doing research forever, it feels like, to find and decide on where I wanted to start serializing What Remains. From sending Erin into realms of madness on Dreame to watching interviews with authors on WattPad to interviewing Urna Semper about Substack (thank you so much for that again), narrowing down the options and choosing the right one for me was tough. It was because of my interview with Urna Semper that I decided I wanted something like Substack, possibly with a little more control on the backend---which is how Rob and I landed on Ghost.

For our eleventh couple's anniversary, Rob figured out Ghost and made us a site last night, and I started prettying it up. Soon, folks will be able to start reading serial chapters of What Remains, starring Sora Kuromoto. It's my largest and favorite project, a combination of medical sci-fi, military sci-fi, some mystery, some psychological thriller, and some sci-fi romance. I'll be posting announcements for every drop, so you never miss a thing. I hope you love it as much as I do, and to hear your thoughts.

"Crimson Bride" is a follow-up to "Crimson Wake" from Moonlight and Margaritas and to Crimson Tide. It was accepted to the upcoming anthology from Tender and Tempting Tales, Midnight, Mischief, and Mistletoe, coming out November 3rd. That's right! I've written a brand-new story, just for my subscribers here at taleederman.com! "Star Groomsman" is a novelette following Geras Vantage, Zak's older brother, voted by the beta pit to get his own romance story. The novelette is drafted and going out to the beta readers tonight, with the aim of having it available alongside "Crimson Bride" on the release of the anthology. I'll be sending it to all current subscribers, and swapping it out for the current freebie, "Party Crashers," on the newsletter sign-up page. If you're already subscribed, you will get first dibs (well, second after the beta pit) at reading it.

I'll be posting teasers and other tidbits from "Star Groomsman" in the lead-up to the anthology publication. I'm so excited and grateful to Tender and Tempting Tales for including me in another one, and excited to bring "Star Groomsman" to all of you! I hope you'll grab a copy of Midnight, Mischief, and Mistletoe to read alongside it, as "Crimson Bride" and "Star Groomsman" are very much companion pieces.
